Amy Yorke, PT, PhD, NCS, is an assistant professor at the University of Michigan-Flint in the physical therapy department. Dr. Yorke is board-certified in neurologic physical therapy, and her teaching responsibilities in the entry-level DPT program include physical therapy examination and management of adults with neurological diseases and disorders. She has more than 20 years of clinical experience working in a variety of interprofessional settings, including acute care, outpatient, and home care. She has been involved in a variety of interprofessional education (IPE) experiences with faculty and students from occupational therapy, nursing, social work, and audiology. She has presented her IPE work at MIPERC (2015-2016), Health Professions Education Day (2016), and the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation & Learning (2016).
