Erin Khang, LMSW, is the director of graduate social work education at the U-M Health System Department of Social Work. She completed her BA in sociology and psychology in 2001 and her MSW in 2004, both at Case Western Reserve. Erin has been at U-M since 2006, initially as a clinical social worker in Pediatric Nephrology. Since 2009 she has been involved with the graduate social work intern program serving as a field instructor, mentorship and clinical skills instructor, and preceptor. In 2015 she took on the role of project manager in the Department of Social Work at UMHS. In that capacity, she is responsible for social work intern education curricula, social work department diversity initiatives, and leadership specific to the electronic medical record. She has been involved in multiple interprofessional education opportunities within the health system through her work with the social work intern education program at UMHS as well as integrated health collaborations with the U-M School of Social Work.
