Leslie Dubin, LMSW, works with the interdisciplinary Geriatric Inpatient Consultation Team at U-M Hospital. She received her MSW from Wayne State in 1997. Since that time, she has been working with individuals and families experiencing difficulties related to severe mental illness, dementia, and other health-related issues, mostly in a hospital setting. She has always recognized the value of multidisciplinary teamwork to reach optimal outcomes for her clients. As such, she has worked on various hospital quality improvement committees related to transitions of care and readmission reduction. She has been a field instructor for the Integrated Health Scholar students and is also an adjunct lecturer at the U-M School of Social Work, where she recently joined faculty as a co-facilitator of the Team-Based Clinical Decision Making course to advance interprofessional education opportunities for clinicians from five different fields.
