Stephanie Munz

Stephanie MunzStephanie Munz, DDS is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Hospital Dentistry at the University of Michigan Health System and School of Dentistry. She is the program director of the General Practice Residency, a one-year certificate program which trains new dentists in collaborative hospital-based patient care. She also teaches pre-doctoral dental students about topics that involve her clinical practice, including oral medicine, pathology and radiology, providing prosthetic treatments and medically necessary dentistry to patients with head and neck cancer, craniofacial anomalies and obstructive sleep apnea, and general dentistry for patients with medical complexity and special healthcare needs.  She is committed to developing the next generation of general dentists who will be able to collaborate with other healthcare professionals across multiple settings.
