Thomas J. Templin
Thomas J. Templin, PhD began his term as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs and Professor of Health and Fitness within the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan on September 1, 2015 and is on both the Executive Committee and the Ad Hoc Administrative Advisory Group for the U-M Center for Interprofessional Education. He is Professor Emeritus in Health and Kinesiology at Purdue University where he joined the faculty in 1977 and served as department head from 1996-2006. Dr. Templin’s research focuses on the lives and careers of teachers and teaching-learning processes. He is a fellow in the National Academy of Kinesiology and is currently President-Elect of the American Kinesiology Association.
