Join us in congratulating Dr. Murdoch-Kinch as she goes forth!
Carol Anne Murdoch-Kinch, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, will become the first female dean of dentistry at Indiana University in July. She has served as an Executive Committee member of the U-M Center for Interprofessional Education since the Center’s inception four years ago, and chaired the original steering committee commissioned 2012 to jump-start IPE at U-M. She has also filled numerous other lead roles in IPE, including co-chair of Health Professions Education Day.
“She was involved with our IPE movement from the beginning,” said Michigan Center for IPE Director Frank Ascione. “We will miss her enthusiasm but hope to continue to work together through the Big 10 IPE Academic Alliance.”
Murdoch-Kinch will be returning to the dental school where she received her PhD, and she hopes to stay involved with the IPE movement. Below, see a few photos from her much-appreciated years of service at U-M.
