IPE/IPC Community of Practice Meeting

More About IPE/IPC Community of Practice Meeting
Session Overview: Values and Ethics in Interprofessional Education and Collaboration
In this meeting, we will continue to build on our shared interests in IPE/IPC and dive deeper into the competency of “values & ethics.” We’ll spend some time thinking through approaches to ethical dilemmas in healthcare, reflect on authentic stories on patient and population health and explore our own practice for navigating ethical challenges in interprofessional settings.
Intended audience:
- Any professional in the healthcare setting including faculty, clinical preceptors, community partners, patient advisors, and other key stakeholders.
- Anyone interested or already involved in interprofessional education and practice at U-M. So whether you are curious about IPE/IPC or have been doing this for years, this community is for you!
- Anyone committed to building connections across disciplinary silos and sharing best practices on how to improve human and population health through effective interprofessional teamwork.
What to expect:
- Networking: We will provide lunch and a chance to meet new people in an inclusive and intimate setting.
- Community Building: We will provide structured opportunities to share personal challenges, successes, and resources in our mutual efforts to improve interprofessional collaboration at U-M.
- Interactive Workshops: We will facilitate professional learning around key topics in IPE/IPC through short presentations, facilitated discussions, group activities and personal reflection.
- Flexible Attendance: Attend all six sessions to gain the most benefit or join individual sessions as your schedule allows.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to gain a sense of community, a deeper appreciation for interprofessional practice, and a supportive network to share and grow within. Come ready to connect, collaborate, and be inspired!
