Stories and photos about interprofessional education (IPE) are highlighted at U-M School of Social Work.
The Fall 2019 Ongoing magazine from the University of Michigan School of Social Work has an impressive 6-page lead spread about involvement with IPE. It begins with a thank you to donors and funders who enable the school “to be leaders in integrated health care that depends on strong interprofessional practice.” A subsequent story talks about training students for a collaborative future through offerings like “Breaking Bad News,” a simulation with medical and social work students. Interprofessional Leadership Fellows and other faculty development programs offered by the Center for IPE are also described.
