Ginsberg Center Community-Engagement Grants for IPE

For IPL fellows, faculty teams, students, and community partners!

The call for proposals is now closed.
Michigan Center for Interprofessional Education (IPE) partners with the Ginsberg Center to support interprofessional community-engaged work of tenured, tenure track, research, and clinical faculty on the three U-M campuses. Up to two grants of up to $5,000 each will be awarded to interprofessional teams that represent at least two different U-M health science schools and include at least one past or current Interprofessional Leadership Fellow (students should also be included).

We seek to engage faculty interested in advancing their scholarship while enhancing the capacity of social sector community partners and communities through substantial, reciprocal engagement. Focus is on interprofessional education proposals focused on advancing equity and decreasing economic and racial disparities in Washtenaw County, Detroit, and other Southeast Michigan communities, especially in the areas of education, employment, and housing, as three key social determinants of health. Deadline to apply was Oct. 30 2020.
